The glass artwork by MSOE memberQuingawaga is sure to catch both your eye & the sun! Featuring the molecular structure of recognizable chemicals - like this theobromine one(a molecule found in chocolate) - they make a perfect nerdy gift!
Today's MSOE shop is that of our dedicated leader (& former captain)bijoutery. I love this ceramic heart necklace - the turquoise beads compliment the copper, leather & brown ceramic beautifully. Wouldn't this be a perfectly earthy Valentine's gift?
The Mad Scientist I want to feature today, minouette, is one of our most dedicated members (& updater of this blog). And you should see the amazing linocuts in this shop - simply breathtaking! The famous scientists, like Mercator the map maker, are my favourites.
In the Mad Scientists of Etsy's January Challenge we tackled the entire field of particle physics! We covered everything from Planck's constant, to the Higgs Boson, to atomic structure, to cosmic rays, to the discovery of mesons, to quarks - in a wide variety of media.
Check out all the wonderful variations on this dynamic field of study:
Hi! This is Amanda from Ulixis Crafts. I have an item of the day on my blog each day & decided to feature some of my fellow Mad Scientists of Etsy(MSOEers) so that my readers can get to know my team a bit better. We really are an interesting group - you'll be amazed at the variety of work a bunch of scientists can do! I'll be copying these daily features over here so that everyone can fully appreciate the MSOE talent.
I feel as though this bracelet was made for me: it features my birthstone (peridot) & favourite colour of the moment (grey), the tree of life (a famous Klimt painting, my favourite artist) & a Hamsa charm (which is an ancient charm agains the evil eye but reminds me of yoga for some reason)... it would be a great reminder to me to keep up with my practice.
